PIEA approves tax abatements for five projects - The Kansas City Business Journal - Cherry Hill Row, a 15-unit residential condominium project at 29th and Cherry streets, was recently approved by the Planned Industrial Expansion Authority. The project will expand Urban Coeur Development LP's Gillham Row PIEA Area. All but one of the 33 total condominium units have sold, said Larry Maxfield, an Urban Coeur partner.

Doors swing open at new Papillion mall - Omaha World - Herald - Kohl's cut the ribbon on its new Papillion department store Thursday morning, marking the official opening of the Shoppes at Market Pointe and the start of more convenient shopping for many Sarpy County residents.  

New use beckons for a Valentine area landmark - The Kansas City Star Redevelopment plans have begun on the historic Norman School in downtown Kansas City to transform the vacated school building into 35 apartments, along with renovations to the Congress Building at 3535 Broadway beginning this summer.
